Renewed Computer Technology
(RCT) in Partnership with the YRDSB
YRDSB
has recently partnered with RTC to enable low-income families to have renewed
or upgraded computers at a very low cost. Families can apply at ‘rcto.ca’
- you would not apply to the school, rather apply directly through the site.
The
Desktop Package is $60 - you get a desktop computer with Windows 10 and MS
Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote Plus learning software, as
well as a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
The
Laptop Package is $150 - you get a laptop with Windows 10 and MS Office, Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote Plus learning software. There is
the ability to also add on a monitor, keyboard and/or mouse for an additional fee.
