Student Safety

Hi Raven Families,
It has been brought to our attention that some parents and/or students are crossing the road in the bus area both in the morning and the afternoon.  This is a big safety issue and we need your support in understanding that this poses a risk of an accident happening.  Some of the things that our bus drivers have witnessed are parents stopping on the left of the buses and letting their kids out to run in front of the buses to the school side of the road, calling them to come to the car passing in front of the buses at the end of the day, and parents running with their children across the road in front of the approaching buses.  As you can imagine, this causes anxiety for our bus drivers and has the potential of causing an accident.  We appreciate you working with us to ensure the safety of all of our students, families, and community partners by conducting drop offs and pick ups in a safe manner.
