Monday, October, 30th ~ Wear Purple for Rett Syndrome

On Sunday October 29th many iconic Canadian landmarks such as the CN tower will be lit up purple in support of Rett Syndrome awareness day. Rett syndrome affects 1 in every 10 000 people and almost always affects females. Girls with Rett syndrome have trouble controlling their bodies but can understand everything around them. They love to play games and have fun with their friends! Students can wear purple on Monday October 30th to school in support of national Rett syndrome awareness day and friends in the community class.
