Fall Fest Begins Today!

We will be running our Annual Fall Fest Fundraiser from October 22nd until October 31st. Students can win raffle prizes by earning "I Made a Difference Today" ballots.

On October 31st, we will be celebrating the end of Fall Fest by hosting a dance-a-thon for all classes in the gymnasium.

It is an opportunity to donate to the school to help fund program enhancements for our students. This year’s proceeds will help buy technology, support our music program, provide subsidy for field trips and many more items.

October 25th

A note from our photographer -

Before Picture Day:

·
·       Help your child pick out the outfit they will be wearing for photo day.  Try it on and ensure your child is comfortable.  Check to make sure it is clean and wrinkle free.  Start practicing your smile, remember we are not taking selfies.  Relax, our photographers will make your child comfortable and create an enjoyable photo day

On Picture Day:

·       Wear solid colours and avoid flashy prints with slogans.  This will highlight the face and the smile.
·       Children with glasses need not worry, our photographers are trained to reduce glare created by the flash.  Our photographers will do their very best to make photo day an enjoyable one

After Photo Day

·       Proofs will arrive at the school approximately 1 week after photo day.  All ordering instructions will be included.  Students that were absent on Photo Day will have the option of Retake Day.

Safety - Drop Off and Pick Up

Please keep all of our students safe!

We have observed several traffic violations and unsafe driving in front of Robinson from parents dropping off their child(ren).

Remember:

  • Robinson Street is a NO Parking Zone East and Westbound during morning drop-off
  • York Regional Police will be increasing their presence on Robinson Street in the mornings in order to remind drivers to adhere to the road signs and remind pedestrians crossing Robinson and Galsworthy to use safe crossing locations.
  • The North side of Robinson Street is a no parking zone. YRP has explained that it could be used as a kiss and ride location, but drivers should not park and exit their vehicles during morning drop off.
  • Our parking lots are not available for student drop off or pick up.  They are for Staff parking only.
  • If it is necessary to park and exit your vehicle, use a neighbouring side street with allowable parking and walk the short distance to school.

Please be vigilant when driving near our school in the mornings. Many of our walking students cross the street and it is everyone's responsibility to make sure our little Ravens get to school safely.  We appreciate all of our families making this a priority...we need to work as a community to keep ALL students safe.  Thank you in advance for giving this the attention it needs.
