Part of the funds raised from the community by school council and through spirit wear sales are used to provide program enhancement opportunities.
Between April 3-5, students will have an opportunity to participate in an XMovement program called X-Dance as one of these program enhancements.
"X
Dance is a curriculum-based dance program that explores diversity through a
high-energy and culturally rich dance experience. Students identify their
unique characteristics, celebrate with the I am Xtra Awesome affirmation, and
broaden their understanding of how they can make the world a more inclusive
place."
On April 5th, from 6-8 p.m., X Movement will be hosting a community engagement event for families so the students can strut their stuff and teach their family a few "moves"!
