On Thursday, February 28th, Joanne George, author of "Smiley - A Journey of Love", will be coming to James Robinson PS to present to all of our students. Joanne's book tells about a special dog named Smiley who was born without eyes, but was able to become a therapy dog and share joy with people. This book was the 2018 Silver Birch Express Award recipient. We look forward to welcoming Ms. George and hearing all about seeing with our hearts.
School Council Fundraising and parent support has allowed us to bring this experience to our students.
If families are interested in purchasing their own copy
of "Smiley" by Joanne George, they will be available on Thursday for
$20. Every student who purchases a book
will have it signed by the author during her visit.
