Please keep all of our students safe!
We have observed several traffic violations and unsafe driving in front of Robinson from parents dropping off their child(ren).
Remember:
- Robinson Street is a NO Parking Zone East and Westbound during morning drop-off
- York Regional Police will be increasing their presence on Robinson Street in the mornings in order to remind drivers to adhere to the road signs and remind pedestrians crossing Robinson and Galsworthy to use safe crossing locations.
- The North side of Robinson Street is a no parking zone. YRP has explained that it could be used as a kiss and ride location, but drivers should not park and exit their vehicles during morning drop off.
- Our parking lots are not available for student drop off or pick up. They are for Staff parking only.
- If it is necessary to park and exit your vehicle, use a neighbouring side street with allowable parking and walk the short distance to school.
Please be vigilant when driving near our school in the mornings. Many of our walking students cross the street and it is everyone's responsibility to make sure our little Ravens get to school safely. We appreciate all of our families making this a priority...we need to work as a community to keep ALL students safe. Thank you in advance for giving this the attention it needs.
