Tomorrow we will be having our annual Fall Fest! This year it will be hosted by Earth Day Canada as part of our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPaL) initiative.
Thank you to all families who have donated to our fundraiser for this event! Money raised supports many program enhancements for the students at our school, including technology, reading programs, field trip subsidies, athletic jerseys, etc.
If you still wish to make a donation, log onto SchoolCashOnline and click the donation button on your home screen. If you you have more than one child at JRPS, please add their names in the donation comments so we can assign raffle tickets in their names.

Monday, October, 30th ~ Wear Purple for Rett Syndrome
On Sunday October 29th
many iconic Canadian landmarks such as the CN tower will be lit up purple in
support of Rett Syndrome awareness day. Rett syndrome affects 1 in every 10 000
people and almost always affects females. Girls with Rett syndrome have trouble
controlling their bodies but can understand everything around them. They love
to play games and have fun with their friends! Students can wear purple on
Monday October 30th to school in support of national Rett syndrome awareness
day and friends in the community class.
